What does app coverage do?

Coverage is a pretty broad word; here we break down the cost and how we made it simple for everyone.

Point #1

In order for your app to be live, you have to stay compliant with the provider's policy. These changes are usually technical, with the need for code to be written sometimes with a 24-hour turnaround!

Not being compliant quickly leads to hosting termination. Coverage lets developers update your base regularly to stay compliant and live!

Point #2

Aside from developer maintenance, theres the obvious cost of data use! With most hosting providers we use, it ends up being cheaper if payment is made as collateral.

That way, the provider can reserve data space. Not reserving usually leads to a billing 2-3x price hike.

Frequently Asked Questions

We'll explain this and more to you on our call if you're interested in working with us!

Are these set prices?

Nope!

These are all estimated prices that we've seen individuals price their projects out with. Everyone's app will have a custom price, based on the amount of scoped hours of developer and designer time you would need in order to get your MVP published and running.

Can I cancel this plan at any time?

Of course! You can cancel your plan in the payment portal.

Do keep in mind, having an app that is actively being accessed by users requires you to subscribe to a security plan in order to update and access a database. This is Google's main policy with Firebase that they uphold in order to be globally compliant. You can learn more about this here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/rules.

Each app in our ecosystem gets custom privacy rules in order to stay compliant with Firebase, as well as the privacy policies for Apple's App Store and Google's Play Store.

Do I have to update my entire plan if I want something from a higher plan?

Of course! Just keep in mind, adding space to your collections typically means upgrading your security alongside it. The more storage for content, the more storage you need to protect that content.

How does upgrading a plan work?

All of our plans are super modular, so these numbers and data limitations are guesstimates on what we have seen with the past 50 most recent apps, and what they require to operate.

None of these prices are rigid, and can be customized to fit your personal business needs and limitations.

Can I build an app without coding?

We make the upkeep and management for your app as seamless as possible, meaning we give you no-code tools to manage and monitor your app's performance and data.

Does this app builder have strong security?

We use the latest security protocols used by hundreds of Fortune 500 companies. We use the power of Google's Database, Firebase, to enable you to have enterprise-level security protocol on you app.

Can I chat with someone?

Of course!

If you have a product manager for your app provided through Hidaku, ping them on Basecamp. If you have yet to get one, or you haven't built and app with us yet, feel free to send an email to support@hidaku.com.
